Elliott Broidy, the renown Republican Fund-raisier, got his “15 minutes of infamy” this week — when it was revealed that Broidy made use of one of Cohen’s fill-in-the-blanks NDAs.  For the GOP money-handler’s dalliance with a Playboy Model.

Cohen has one very specialized skill-set there — keeping the GOP Scandals under-wraps.

Broidy has his skill-sets too — finding Money in ‘dark places’ and channeling it into Republican coffers, with no one in the watchdog world, the wiser.

First off, Broidy has had several run-ins with the law, over his career(s), some of which are discussed in this next story.  Elliott Broidy also was highly placed in the RNC organization, along with his NDA lawyer Michael Cohen.

The President, His Business Partner, and the Fundraiser

by Andrea Bernstein and Ilya Marritz, wnyc.org — May 25, 2017

It’s an oddity about covering President Trump’s potential conflicts of interest: certain names keeping coming up. For example, Elliott Broidy.

In April, the Republican National Committee announced the appointment of three national deputy finance chairmen: President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen, North Carolina businessman Louis DeJoy and Broidy.

[…]

Several years later, Broidy is now one of the most significant fundraisers for the Republican National Committee. He was a major fundraiser for Trump’s inaugural committee. And during the presidential campaign, he raised money for Trump’s Victory Fund, a joint Trump/RNC fundraising committee.

This places Broidy, once convicted of bribing government officials to enrich his own company, in the position of soliciting giant donations for Republican causes and candidates. The inaugural committee, which is separate from the RNC and the presidential campaign, broke records for fundraising. According to an analysis by the nonpartisan OpenSecrets.org, most of the $107 million raised came from industries that stand to gain from Trump administration priorities.

[…]

Then there’s this — Elliott Broidy is on Mueller’s radar for his advocacy role between Trump and the UAE, via George Nader:

[…]

Broidy sent a memo to Nader last fall detailing his meetings with President Trump, where he said he advocated for the UAE’s foreign policy views and frequently pressed Trump to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the country’s de facto ruler.

Nader introduced Broidy to Prince Mohammed shortly after the election, the Times reported. Soon after, a private security company owned by Broidy signed contracts with the United Arab Emirates worth several hundred million dollars.

It’s funny that Broidy went on to sue Qater, which appears to be part of wider Mideast Blockade against them, initiated by among others UAE — Broidy’s hundred million dollar benefactor.

But those tactics are nothing considering what Elliott Broidy was “cooking up” with respect to “Lifting Russian Sanctions” (early on in the Trump Administration).  What are the odds there was a Price tag, associated with such a Trump-Broidy “fixer” service at the time …

Trump Fundraiser Offered to Help Lift Sanctions on Russian Firms

by Zachary Mider and David Voreacos, Bloomberg — March 23, 2018

Elliott Broidy, a top fundraiser for President Donald Trump, offered last year to help a Moscow-based lawyer get Russian companies removed from a U.S. sanctions list.

Broidy made the offer after an inquiry from Andrei Baev, an energy lawyer at Chadbourne & Parke LLP, both men acknowledged in statements to Bloomberg News this week. In a proposal sent to Baev shortly before Trump’s January 2017 inauguration, Broidy sketched out a potential campaign to influence top U.S. officials, according to a person with knowledge of the talks who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The plan never went forward, Broidy and Baev said, and no such lobbying took place. […]

If it wasn’t for Broidy’s abrupt (scandal-fallout) resignation from the RNC leadership, a couple days ago, we might still be subjected to his questionable financial practices,  which are documented in the next report, in some detail.  Due to the 3-paragraph fair use rule, I’ll highlight only the most grievous one …

[…]

A decade ago, Broidy led the RNC’s national finance team and was one of the top bundlers for John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, four years after he’d been dubbed a “Ranger” for his fundraising success on behalf of George W. Bush’s re-election committee.

[…]

But that all came to an end in 2009, after Broidy pleaded guilty in New York for his role in a pension pay-to-play scheme, admitting he had doled out nearly $1 million in favors to New York state pension officials in return for their $250 million investment in Markstone Capital, the Israel-focused investment fund he co-founded.

He and his firm each paid $18 million in fines in New York, and state and federal investigations involving Markstone led to convictions of pension officials in New York and California.

[…]
That McClatchy article also details how:  “a small defense contractor Broidy owns opened an office last year in Romania” — and that through his Defense company Circinus, that was “Broidy was well-positioned, though, to benefit when the new president called for a ‘historic’ increase in defense spending.”
In addition to lobbying on behalf of the Romania Government to the Trump Administration, Elliot Brody with his European/Mideast connections, also appears to be “well-positioned” to have been one of the “mystery guests” accompanying Michael Cohen on his Prague-Russia Meetup (hypothetically speaking).
Which among other things, discussed how the Russian Hackers were to be paid, and how the they would cover-up their tracks, if the USA-Russia joint operations suddenly ‘went south’ …

From the Steele Dossier:

Mr Trump’s attorney had a secret meeting with Kremlin officials in Prague in August 2016

[Michael] Cohen had been accompanied to Prague by three colleagues and the timing of the visit was either in the last week of August or the first week of September. According to [redacted], the agenda comprised questions on how deniable cash payments were to be made to hackers who had worked in Europe under Kremlin direction against the Clinton campaign and various contingencies for covering up these operations and Moscow’s secret liaison with the Trump team more generally.

Given the latest news about Cohen’s confirmed trip to Prague, who better for Cohen to have on his secret strategizing trip, than the RNC top bundler, and trusted Trump PAC exec — and Cohen’s future National Deputy Finance Co-chairman of the RNC:   Eliott Broidy.

Inquiring ‘Dark Money’ watchers, should want to know.

Perhaps even the RNC, should want to know too.  Seeing as to how all those “Victory Funds” can get so easily “co-mingled” …

We live in very deceptive times people — and the Law-breakers will continue to Lie and Scheme, and Bully and Distract — with their “feigned outage” of their impugned integrity

But don’t let their crocodile tears be the “final word” — we have their respective “legal histories” — to judge the “depth of their character” with, instead.

PS.  Don’t trust a crocodile — no matter how indignant they pretend to be. Crocodiles have no “depth of character” — it’s not a part of their make up.

It’s a good thing that the Repugnants, like all criminals, are basically stupid. They all have IQ’s similar to the Trump crime family – at the level of ‘moron’. And I’m being generous. Just ask Rex Tillerson. Hopefully, they will be sent to remedial prison. Before they are hung as traitors.

Basically, it’s the marriage of greed and arrogance that gives birth to incorrigible stupidity…
