I hadn’t seen this article, nor seen it referred to here, so I’m giving it play this morning.
Lot’s of speculation on why Michael Cohen is changing legal teams, midstream. It’s not even sure whether they were fired or they quit. And legal fees may have much to do with it as well.
But as of Friday, they are no longer representing Cohen.
Attorneys Stephen Ryan, Joseph Evans, and Todd Harrison have represented Cohen in the investigation, which has so far featured several hearings before US District Judge Kimba Wood related to the documents seized by the FBI. ABC News identified a “source representing this matter” as telling them that Cohen was about to lose his legal representation. The development is believed to be imminent, and no replacement counsel was identified as of Wednesday morning.
Cohen, Ryan, Harrison, and Evans did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider. Joanna Hendon, the attorney representing Trump in the case, did not respond to a request for comment. Nor did Alan Futerfas, the attorney representing The Trump Organization, or Trump’s outside attorney, Rudy Giuliani.
NOBODY’S talking about this. Nobody.
Well, except for the legal firms who’ve been approached by Cohen, that is.
He appears to be searching for a…………..different kind……….of legal team.

At least two prominent law firms have made it clear they will not represent former Trump Organization lawyer Michael D. Cohen as he searches for a new legal team ahead of expected indictments, sources familiar with the interactions tell McClatchy.
A lawyer who turned down overtures from Cohen’s camp said he did so because he wasn’t experienced in plea deals, which he said was one of the areas of strength Cohen had been seeking in new legal representation.
So, though nobody in the Trump/Cohen/Giuliani circle is talking, we find out the truth.
It’s about finding a team who can negotiate the best plea deal for Michael Cohen.
Thus far, Cohen, Trump and Giuliani have been playing a cat and mouse game of “will I flip?” “will he stay loyal” “do we help him” “how do we signal he will be pardoned without obstructing justice”
Now we know, from outside sources who have no horse in the race, that Michael Cohen is the one driving this train, and Trump can either get on and stop it…………………….or not.
My question to you is “will Donald Trump find a way to make it crystal clear to Michael Cohen that he will, in fact, be pardoned for any and all crimes, WITHOUT providing Mr. Muller with one more count of obstructing justice?”
This is coming along with news that though Mueller passed this particular case onto NY (for safe-keeping?) he’s still investigating Cohen himself for ties to Russia collusion.
A former member of the Ukrainian parliament who appeared before special counsel Robert Mueller’s grand jury last week has told ABC News that, based on the questioning, he believes prosecutors probing Russian meddling in the 2016 election are still highly interested in the president’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.
“My personal opinion is that Michael Cohen is the target of this investigation,” Andrii Artemenko said in an interview with ABC News on Thursday. “I can’t share with you the details of the questions, but from my understanding, they’re keeping going with this investigation.”
Cohen is in the frying pan. If he doesn’t flip soon, he’s gonna get burned………….
And let’s please not forget his attachment-at-the-hip to the President.
April 24th, 2018. “Ask my lawyer, Michael Cohen”.
June 15th, 2018 “He’s not my lawyer. I haven’t talked to Michael in a very long time”.
